We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant - Tuckshop to join our customer service driven team.

THE ROLE

Our busy tuckshop is open daily during term time, selling nutritious, high quality freshly prepared and cooked food for breakfast, morning tea and lunch.  It is a fast-paced environment with key tasks including:

·         High quality food preparation, working efficiently and within the Food Safety Guidelines.

·         Providing exceptional customer service to student, staff and visitors.

·         Ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene of the tuckshop at all times.

This is a casual, term-time position.  Where your availability allows, it is estimated you will receive 3-4 shifts per week during school term time. 

ABOUT YOU

To ensure your success in this role you will be able to clearly demonstrate:

·         Efficient food preparation skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

·         Previous experience in a café, tuckshop or similar hospitality environment.

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt your service to suit a range of customers.

·         A flexible, positive attitude and a strong commitment to proactively contributing to a cohesive team environment.
