We are currently inviting applications for the role of:

Administration Assistant – Primary

The role

This fast paced and varied role provides a high level of customer service and quality administrative support to contribute to a culture of service excellence, efficiency and continuous improvement.  The Primary Office is the administrative hub that supports the primary school with a range of professional services. 

The role is responsible for:

  • Contributing to the smooth running of the primary office by providing prompt and accurate administrative support.
  • Assist with the coordination of key events in the primary school.
  • Being the first point of contact for students, parents, staff and visitors to the primary office and providing exceptional customer service.

This is a part-time role working 3 days per week during school term time.  Upon commencement the three days per week are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, energetic and experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.  It is not a requirement that you have previous experience working in a school, however, the role interacts with children on a day to day basis so you will be someone who enjoys being around children.

You will have:

  • Well developed interpersonal skills coupled with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong administrative skills with a high-level of competence with the Microsoft suite products.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • A high level of attention to detail.The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • A can-do attitude and high level of flexibility.
