We are currently inviting applications for the role of: 

Catering Assistant

The Catering Assistants support the catering team with basic food preparation, and assisting with maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the commercial kitchen, tuckshop and dining room. 

  • Monday to Friday – during school term time, hours can vary across 6.30am – 2.30pm

This role will work predominately in the tuckshop assisting with food preparation, customer service and delivery of pre-orders to the primary school. Consideration will also be given to sharing this shift across two people.

About You

You will be someone who enjoys the ‘buzz’ of a busy catering environment.  You will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a busy catering environment will be highly regarded.
  • The ability to work well in a positive team environment.
  • A working knowledge of food safety guidelines.
  • A can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
