We are currently inviting applications for the role of:

Laundry Attendant

Our busy onsite laundry provides support to our boarders, catering team and broader school community.  

The role

Working alongside an experienced Laundry Attendant, this role provides the rewarding opportunity to support our boarders living away from home and our broader school community with a high-quality laundry service delivered with care and high attention to detail.  This is a busy role with a high volume of laundry processed daily. The role assists with creating a welcoming environment for our boarders with a focus on providing exceptional service.

The ideal candidate

While experience in a similar, busy laundry role would be advantageous, it is not essential.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A high level of attention to detail, ensuring a high level of presentation of all items laundered
  • A high level of customer service and interpersonal skills to interact positively with boarders, staff and students
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure all items are available in the required timeframes
  • The ability to work well in a small team environment
  • A high level of energy and physical capability to perform the role
  • A knowledge of work, health and safety as it relates to a laundry environment
  • A positive attitude, can-do attitude with a high level of flexibility
