The Role
As a Grounds Person, you’ll be part of our Facilities Team, helping to maintain and enhance the presentation of our beautiful school grounds. Your day-to-day will include:
• Maintaining garden beds, lawns, and pathways
• Supporting small irrigation projects and garden refurbishments
• Planting, mulching, and soil improvement
• Keeping equipment clean and functional
• Assisting with maintenance tasks
• Helping with event set-up and pack-down
This full-time role spans both campuses in Ascot and Corinda with some flexibility in hours and participation in a rotational Saturday roster.

About YOU
You’re someone who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. You will bring:
• A Certificate III in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture (or working towards it)
• A current Queensland Driver’s Licence
• Experience in grounds or garden maintenance
• A strong understanding of WHS practices
• A proactive attitude and attention to detail
• Physical capability for outdoor work
• Great teamwork and communication skills
• A current Working with Children – Blue Card (or able to obtain)
• A willingness to support our schools’ values and Anglican ethos
