- $43.08 to $46.35 per hour + Superannuation + NFP Salary Packaging

The Role:
We are seeking a values-driven case manager to be part of our dynamic PRAP team. The PRAP program works closely with the Homelessness Entry Point and other specialist homelessness services to assist people in accessing and maintaining their own private rental accommodation. The role will include:
- Providing time-limited case management support of up to 12 weeks
- Liase with real estate industry, landlords, VCAT as well as other community support services to support people in gaining and maintaining private rental
- Support clients to look at challenges that may contribute to insecure housing
- Attend private rental inspections and advocate for housing opportunities.
- Develop positive relationship in the real estate industry and with other service sector providers.
In this role, you provide the expertise needed to navigate a difficult terrain and help our clients achieve and sustain secure housing. The PRAP Plus Case Manager works fluidly and flexibility within the dynamic private rental housing market environment, analyses trends and identifies access opportunities for our clients.

Key Selection Criteria:
- Knowledge of the private rental sector and managing rental brokerage;
- Knowledge of housing systems, tenancy rights and responsibilities, rental legislation and rental agreements;
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise with a range of housing providers and support services;
- Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment that reacts to industry trends;
- Previous case management experience (highly preferred);
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members to support clients to achieve identified goals;
- A valid Victorian driver's licence and availability to travel to various sites.
