About Vincentcare Victoria

VincentCare Victoria is an award-winning organisation established to provide a range of accommodation and support services to people that are facing disadvantage throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria.

Our aspiration is to be the leader in providing care, hope and advocacy for those facing disadvantage. Our purpose is to create opportunities and lasting change for the most marginalised. VincentCare is well equipped to provide a continuum of services that effectively meet the needs of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Little bit about the role

As part of the Housing Services team, this role is responsible for the day-to-day management of tenancies and property maintenance within VincentCare’s housing portfolio. You’ll ensure our properties meet quality standards, support clients in a respectful and professional manner, and contribute to tenancy stability for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This includes coordinating inspections, arranging repairs and maintenance, maintaining property databases, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of housing services.

You’ll also work collaboratively as part of the wider team, actively participating in organisational meetings, professional development, and contributing to a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment. Compliance with relevant policies, standards, and legislative obligations is integral to this role.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience in tenancy and property management, ideally in social housing.
  • Understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and VCAT processes (desirable).
  • Experience supporting people facing disadvantage or homelessness.
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office; knowledge of Chintaro is a bonus.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or experience in housing
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Team player who’s adaptable and self-motivated.
  • Values-driven, respectful, and professional in approach.

About you

You are a compassionate and organised individual with a genuine passion for supporting people facing housing instability. Your background in tenancy management, along with your strong understanding of the social housing sector, enables you to navigate complex situations with empathy and professionalism.

You thrive in collaborative environments, contribute positively to team culture, and are committed to continuous learning and compliance with best practices. With a keen eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in property care and client service, you ensure every task is carried out with diligence and care.

You bring a respectful, client-focused approach, a high level of accountability, and a desire to make a lasting impact within a mission-driven organisation working to end homelessness.

  • We offer a place where you know you are contributing to a firm committed to helping others. We are passionate about #SocialJustice.
