Little bit about the role
In this role, you’ll provide intensive, trauma-informed case management to a small caseload, supporting clients to secure and sustain safe, stable housing. You’ll work closely with individuals to build life skills, enhance wellbeing and promote social inclusion, using a strengths-based and culturally responsive approach.
You’ll operate in an outreach capacity, meeting clients in the community and maintaining strong, professional relationships through persistent and assertive engagement. Collaboration is key, you’ll work alongside ACCOs, local service providers and other stakeholders to deliver coordinated, holistic support. You’ll also monitor client progress and maintain accurate, timely records in line with program and reporting requirements.
Key Selection Criteria
- Minimum 3-year degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working with homelessness, mental health, AOD, or family violence support services.
- Strong understanding of case management, risk assessment, and trauma-informed practice.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Cultural awareness and ability to provide culturally safe support, particularly for First Nations clients.
