About Abundance Fresh Farms

To be the leading provider in fresh produce farming, while growing opportunities for Indigenous communities

As part of the Sunwest Group, we manage farm operations in Baldivis, including a Cravo protected cropping facility and a 20 hectares of field cropping, ensuring a continued supply of select produce lines to the various Sunwest Group business units.


About the Role

As part of a close knit farming team based in Baldivis, the Farmhand will work across all facets of farming, including but not limited to:

  • Planting, Harvesting, Weeding and Reaping an array of vegetables and herbs
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Farm work and general maintenance (indoor and outdoor in the elements)
  • General paperwork
  • Inspecting fresh produce to ensure quality standards are met
  • Loading and unloading of goods
  • Manual handling
  • Use of mechanical aids


About You

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Physically fit
  • Have your own car and drivers license
  • Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • Dedicated and willing to learn
  • Follow direction well
  • A team player with high level of dedication and ability to build strong relationships as well as the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work flexible hours due to weather conditions 


Are you a standout candidate?

  • Previous Farming experience an advantage but not essential
  • Experience in the operation of a range of agricultural equipment (windrower ,sprayer, tractor, trucks etc) an advantage but not essential
  • A forklift ticket is an advantage but not essential
