Spicers Hidden Vale is a luxury Retreat situated on a 12000 acre cattle property approximately one hour West of Brisbane.  Set in a unique location offering picturesque views, well-appointed accommodation, gourmet food and wine, active experiences and spa services, Spicers Hidden Vale creates a relaxed environment perfect for conferences, wedding and leisure guests.  

Due to exciting growth here at Hidden Vale the following positions are available:

• Full Time Food and Beverage Attendant
• Casual Front Desk and Reservation Agent
• Casual Housekeepers

Food and Beverage Attendant

As Food and Beverage Attendant, your core responsibility is to deliver the highest standard of food and beverage service for our guests ensuring repeat business.

Key Requirements:

• You will be responsible for meeting, greeting and seating guests and taking orders
• A positive can do attitude and willingness to develop your knowledge base are a must
• Attention to detail and ability to maximise revenue  through up-selling
• You will be a natural in the 'Art of Restaurant Service' built from past experience
• Excellent Food and Wine knowledge and previous experience working in a Hatted Restaurant is desirable
• Excellent bar knowledge and knowledge of Cocktail and Coffee making
• A professional and warm personality
• Ability to work a 7 day roster
• Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills

Off-site staff accommodation charged at a weekly rate, may be available for the right applicant.

Front Desk and Reservations Agent

You will be responsible for the registration and check out of guests, as well as being a point of information to assist guests.  You must also actively maximise hotel revenue and profitability by selling hotel facilities and activities during the reservation process and during all interaction with guests.

Renowned for excellent customer services you will also have:

• Impeccable presentation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, flexibility as well as being reliable
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Previous Front Office experience is highly regarded.  A positive, can do attitude and willingness to learn are a must
• You will have a professional and warm personality and must be available to work on a 7 day roster with morning and afternoon shifts

This position is offered on a casual basis with weekly hours being between 20 and 35 per week

Casual Housekeepers

In order to service our 31 rooms and suites, our Homestead and Conference rooms, Restaurant and Bar and Bathrooms, we run a strong Housekeeping team.  We are seeking additional team members to help keep the level of service that we need.  In order to be considered for the role, you should possess the following:

• Prior Housekeeping experience at a Retreat or Hotel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Fast worker
• Be able to take direction and also to work as part of a team
• Excellent personal presentation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The position is on a casual basis with weekly hours being between 8 and 20 per week.
