An opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef and an experienced F&B Attendant to join the award-winning team at Spicers Peak Lodge. These positions will best suit a couple as couple accommodation is provided, however candidates whom live locally and wish to apply independently for either role, are encouraged to do so.
In the role of Chef, you will be assisting with the preparation, cooking and presentation of innovative meals to the Lodge's guests.
In order to be successful, you will need formal qualifications, combined with fine dining experience obtained from a restaurant. This role would best suit a Commis, Demi, Chef de Partie or Sous Chef looking to take their career to the next level.Candidates who are self driven, willing to take and give direction, and display a sense of pride in their work will thrive here.
This position will involve working on a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings.
The F&B attendant position is available for a passionate and experienced hospitality professional who understands fine dining and is passionate about food, wine and exceptional service.
Ideal for an individual highly skilled in restaurant, bar and banquet service. This is full time, live in position, working 5 days per week including weekends.
Working as part of the small and close-knit team, you will be responsible for full A la carte restaurant service, as well as serving our famous 7 course degustation menu. Preparing and serving drinks and making coffees is also required as part of the role.
These roles will suit energetic and enthusiastic individuals who are ready and willing to make their mark in the hospitality industry.
You will need to be a customer-focused couple with previous experience in similar hospitality roles, preferably within fine dining at a 4 or 5 star property. It would be advantageous to hold a current RSA certificate or the willingness to obtain if considered suitable. Applicants who demonstrate a strong knowledge of food and wine will be highly regarded.
Spicers is ideally looking for a reliable, trustworthy and professionally couple with high attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional and professional guest service with a smile. You will both have the ability to work in a happy and fun team environment as well as autonomously.
