About the Opportunity
Spicers Retreats has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Head Office team, based in Fortitude Valley.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for meeting room night and revenue sales targets through the development and growth of new business, as well as retention of existing business with key clients across the MICE, corporate and leisure markets for Spicers Retreats.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
The successful applicant will be a proven Business Development Manager with extensive experience in a similar role within the Hospitality Industry. You'll be abreast of market trends and competitor activity so that you can make sure that client needs are accommodated for and sales targets are met.
An outstanding communicator who is professionally presented, you will be able to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders with ease, influence and authority. You'll work closely with key clients, so it's imperative that you are able to maintain positive relationships and a comprehensive level of product knowledge across each of the properties within Spicers Retreats.
