We are actively seeking Clinical Nurse Educators to join our team at St Basil’s (Full-time permanent and Full Time fixed term (6 months)

You will support nurses, carers and other clinicians by delivering evidence-based education that is supportive, empowering, practical and customised across our residential and community facilities.

All six of St Basil’s residential aged care homes situated across metropolitan Sydney comply fully with the requirements of the Federal Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. 

Essential Criteria: 

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing
  • Current Registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a RN in aged care in an Australian setting
    • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
    • Excellent clinical knowledge.
  • Competent documentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills 
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement 
  • Computer skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate education and supervise staff in upskilling 
  • Ability to support the mission and values of St Basil’s.
  • No work limitation in Australia

Desirable Criteria: 

  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Understanding and empathy with religious based service delivery.
  • Proficiency in spoken Greek and Greek cultural appreciation is an advantage.
