The opportunity
Our team are on the lookout for an experienced and highly motivated accountant to play a key role in supporting operational and strategic decision making across the Finance function. The role will be permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, working within the heart of Wollongong alongside a well established and high-performing Finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Performance & Analysis Manager, this hands-on role will see you assist with month-end processing and reporting, preparation of financial statutory requirements and liaison with external auditors and the ATO. Partnering with our business leaders, you will provide well-informed advice based on financial analysis and modelling whilst working proactively with team members to identify new initiatives and improvement opportunities.

What you will bring to the role
As the successful candidate you will posses relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance with experience in a similar role. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite in particular Microsoft Excel is essential as well as strong technical skills including demonstrated experience preparing management and statutory accounts. You will have a track record of being willing to drive change and be a 'team player' with the ability to demonstrate our core values of respect and equality, trust and honesty, creativity and innovation, adaptability and flexibility, tenacity and resilience as well as partnership and collaboration.
