The Opportunity
Our services in the Eurobodalla region are growing and we are looking for highly motivated individuals to work within a dynamic team delivering person-centred support to our participants. We have a range of rewarding part-time opportunities as a Disability Support Worker to work within the Batemans Bay area in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) space, Independent Living Options space (ILO) and Group Programs .
Our supports have a strong focus on building independent living skills as well as increasing participant's social connections through participation in community activities and employment. Operating over a 24/7 period, our shifts span across the day, afternoon and night which will require you to have availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts to fulfil the needs of our services.
The general roles and responsibilities of Support Workers include:
- Delivering personal care to participants in their home and community.
- Preparing and assisting with meal preparation.
- Administering medication and offering mobility assistance.
- Supporting attendance at appointments and community-based events.
- Engaging in skill building activities, both individually and in a group setting.
- Offering meaningful and active support to enable participants to achieve their goals.
What we are looking for:
- Genuine desire to provide high level care for people with disability
- Ability to enable inclusion for people with disability
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Demonstrated awareness of disability
- Creativity to promote and support community contribution
- Working with Children's Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate displaying 2 vaccinations
- Current driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Full availability to work across a 24/7 roster

- Hourly pay rate starting from $32.21 - $35.14 (part-time) depending on relevant experience and qualifications
