As the Marketing and Events Officer, you will work on a permanent part time basis closely with our Kidswish and Marketing team to organise events and provide administration support while building relationships with our various stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:
In your fun new role you will be contracted to a minimum of two days and paid an hourly rate of $32.21. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the planning and set up of events, including operational tasks such as sourcing raffle prizes.
- Engaging and coordinating KidsWish volunteers.
- General Administration tasks using spreadsheets and technology.
- Loading events onto Humantix, our chosen event ticketing platform.
- Assisting with KidsWish marketing and social media content.
- Communicating and building relationships with stakeholders for Fundraising purposes.
- Staying active by loading trucks and setting up events.
What you will bring:
- The ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Your personality will be energetic, confident and you will be a go-getter!
- You will be a real people person with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to liaise with varying stakeholders and demographics.
- Basic computer and Excel skills.
- Willingness to drive a small truck with materials to events on occasion.
- A highly organised manner with attention to detail.
- No prior experience is required however an interest in events and marketing or a relevant qualification / background would be great.
- The ability to work additional hours when necessary to support KidsWish Events.
- Willingness to work on weekends and at night on occasion.
The successful candidate will be required to provide checks including an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, COVID-19 vaccination and a valid Driver’s Licence prior to commencing employment.
