About our opportunity:

 

The People Partner joins our expert People Learning Culture team to deliver exceptional HR services to our organisation.

With an emphasis on leading excellence in recruitment, selection, and talent development, the People Partner is responsible for:  

  • Supporting workforce planning processes to ensure informed and considered staffing decisions are made.
  • Leading best practice and innovative end-to-end recruitment and selection activity.
  • Managing the schedule of new-hire and onboarding training against business expectations.
  • Performing compliance related activity including probity management, expiring temporary contracts, and expiring visas.
  • Preparing a range of documentation required during the employee lifecycle, including contracts, variation letters, position descriptions, and more.
  • Collaborating on strategic projects in areas such as diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, early attraction, and organisational development.

 

About you:

 

Purposeful and passionate, you are a lively and skilled HR practitioner with an eye for detail and a commitment to providing leading customer service. We will value your:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant field
  • Experience working in an end-to-end recruitment role
  • Demonstrated success in influencing and negotiation to improve staffing outcomes.
  • Ability to leverage data to support indentation of staffing needs and effective vacancy management.
  • Sound knowledge of contemporary HR processes, understanding of employment legislation and practices, and ability to interpret Awards.
  • Aptitude and confidence using HRIS, e-Recruit systems and the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Ability to maintain a high volume and varied workload with competing demands and priorities.

 

With a workforce of 1900+ and growing, this is a fast-paced, high-volume role, and the successful candidate will need to be organised and tech-savvy.

About reward and recognition:

 

We offer a permanent, full-time opportunity based from our head office near central Wollongong. The annual salary package for the role ranges from $78,000 to $97,000 (including superannuation) and will be negotiated upon the incumbent’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
