Team Leader - Client Services - Groups

Are you looking to utilise your exceptional leadership skills?

 

Our Bega Valley team are seeking a motivated Team Leader to step into a 12-month leave cover position commencing 10 June 2024. This is a full-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday at 76 hours per fortnight.

Supported by a highly established team, you will lead at team of skilled Disability Support Workers to deliver exceptional support within our Community Programs. Our community supports have a strong focus on skill building that meets the unique needs of our participants, ensuring choice, control and inclusivity.

The key role responsibilities for the Team Leader include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day coordination of a diverse range of programs, groups and individual supports.
  • Liaising with families, carers and external organisations regarding the provision of support to clients and program involvement.
  • Coaching and mentoring frontline staff to deliver high quality services to our clients.
  • Maintaining appropriate records and files to ensure accountability to the people we support, organisational management and external bodies.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure our policies and procedures are consistently upheld and understanding privacy and confidentiality issues.

We will value your:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing diverse and complex needs and behaviours.
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate and up skill staff in the disability and community services sector.
  • High level communication skills to liaise with families, carers and other organisations.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Sound administrative and computer skills to utilise The Disability Trust’s various internal systems for client management, rostering, record keeping and risk management.
