Disability Support Worker

Due to the growth of our services, we have multiple part-time and casual opportunities for Disability Support Workers to join our residential team in the Shoalhaven region. We are seeking professional, positive and ambitious Disability Support Workers who are particularly passionate about working in our industry to continue this success. As a Disability Support Worker, you will work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster, empowering people with disability to live the life they choose. You enjoy working in a busy and vibrant environment, with role responsibilities that include:

  • Delivering personal care including showering, toileting, and dressing
  • Preparing and assisting with meal preparation and eating
  • Administering medication and offering mobility assistance
  • Supporting participants with attendance at appointments and community-based events
  • Keeping up to date and accurate shift notes
  • Offering meaningful and active support to enable to participants to achieve their goals

To be successful in the role of Disability Support Worker, you will be required to obtain a Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate and evidence of two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination before commencement. You will also be required to have a current driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
