The Opportunity
Community Services
Our community services team located in Southwest Sydney (Campbelltown and Oran Park) and Southeast Sydney (Miranda) are looking for vibrant and motivated Disability Support Workers to join us on a casual basis. Most Community Programs run in the afternoons to late evening. These shifts can vary from 2 - 6 hours during the school term. We also run a daily Vacation Care service throughout the school holidays from 9am – 4pm.
Engage in activities such as arts & crafts, sporting activities, cooking, school leaver employment supports, after school and vacation care and other day program activities which promote social inclusion and fun environment for participants to develop their skills
Residential
The Residential Services team currently operate in 13 homes across the Sydney region and are looking to expand our operations. We are currently hiring part-time Disability Support Workers across Southeast Sydney (Miranda, Barden Ridge, Caringbah, Gymea, Peakhurst) and Southwest Sydney (Bass Hill, Blair Athol, Chester Hill, Claymore, Kentlyn, Mt Annan and Ruse)
Our services operate over a 24/7 basis, with flexibility and availability to work a range of shifts in the morning, afternoon, evening and overnight. You will have a strong focus on building independent living skills by supporting participants in their own home as well as increasing participants social connections through community involvement and activities.
We place high value into staff that bring creativity, enthusiasm and passion through person-centred support across a 24/7 roster (mornings: 6am - 10am or 2pm, afternoons 2pm - 8pm or 10pm, evenings, sleepovers and active nights 10pm - 6am)
About You:
If successful, you will be required to provide a valid Working with Children's Check and NDIS Workers Check prior to commencement alongside evidence of at least two (2) doses of COVID-19 vaccination. A current First Aid Certificate is preferred; however, we can support you to obtain and maintain a valid certification throughout the life of your career.

For this position, the part-time hourly rate is between $32.21-$34.23 and casual hourly rate is between $40.26 - $43.93 (inclusive of casual loading) to be negotiated on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
