About the Opportunity
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the coordination of a psychosocial support program called Commonwealth Psychosocial Supports. Delivered in partnership with Coordinare, the program will focus on helping people living with mental illness to access services, test eligibility for the NDIS, and access individualised supports with a psychosocial recovery focus.

Overseeing the coordination of the project across three areas – Eurobodalla, Bega Valley and Snowy Monaro, key activities of the Project Coordinator will include:

  • Delivering psychosocial support services to participants with a focus on service navigation support, NDIS application support and the delivery of time limited non-clinical support
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders regarding the delivery of services
  • Guiding and mentoring a small team of Peer Workers & Team Leaders involved in the project
  • Managing systems for gaining feedback and measuring client outcomes
  • Ensuring project timeframes and reporting obligations are met.

This is a part-time, fixed-term position until June 2025, with the possibility for extension. Location base is negotiable within the Eurobodalla and Bega Valley regions, however will service the projects footprint. 

What we are looking for:
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and have demonstrated experience in project coordination and leadership, combined with a passion and background in mental health. Additional selection criteria include:

  • Relevant experience within the Mental Health field
  • An understanding of contemporary mental health approaches, recovery based supports and integrated stepped care
  • Knowledge of the NSW mental health system and associated services
  • The ability to create engaging relationships with all stakeholders
  • Intermediate computer and administration skills.

We will offer you:
The salary for this role ranges from $67,000 to $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation, to be determined based on experience and qualifications. In addition, we will provide you with:
