We are seeking an individual with high attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude to join the Trusted Plan Management Team as a Plan Management Officer based in our Illawarra Head Office. This is a permanent, part-time position at 42 hours a fortnight in a service that has grown to support over 450 clients over the last few years. The Plan Management team perform financial intermediary services to participants who are NDIS recipients and have their NDIS funds set as plan managed. We provide this service across the local area and many regions in NSW and ACT.

About the opportunity:

As a Plan Management Officer reporting to the Manager of Plan Management and Accounts Payable, you will join a fast paced team environment who work collaboratively to manage a high volume of daily processing. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing intermediary services to TPM customers, utilising a range of internal systems/software applications
  • Supporting the team by accurately verifying and processing invoices for claiming under the NDIS
  • Delivering excellent customer service whilst assisting participants with their day-to-day enquiries and plan/budget spend
  • Building and maintaining relationships and providing assistance to stakeholders including participants/nominees, Support Coordinators, providers and NDIS contacts
  • Working collaboratively with the Plan Management team and a variety of internal departments such as Finance, MyTrust and Service Delivery

This role can be worked over 3 or 4 days a week with the potential of having some flexibility in start and finish times.

What you will bring:

You will bring an aptitude for problem solving, have strong budgeting skills with attention to detail and an ability to interpret NDIS pricing arrangements, price limits and guidelines. You will also have good computer literacy and the ability to use internal systems to produce the expected outcomes for processing high volumes of invoices and claims. Ideally you will have a background in bookkeeping or accounts payable and you are confident to pick up the phone and liaise with various internal and external stakeholders. Most importantly, you are someone who is a quick learner, has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys building genuine working relationships with clients and supporting people to live their best lives.

The full-time equivalent base salary range for this role is between $73,000 and $79,000, dependent upon the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
