About our opportunity:
As our new Employment Relations Specialist, you'll be joining an expert People Learning Culture team delivering exceptional HR services on a full-time basis from our Head Office in Coniston.
With an emphasis on leading a high-performance culture and excellence in industrial compliance across the organisational footprint, the Employment Relations Specialist is responsible for:
- Providing professional support to organisation leaders and employees in employment relations matters, including end-to-end support in formal investigation and meeting processes.
- Providing generalist advice on performance, culture, workplace relations, employment legislation and organisational policy.
- Supporting employees and leaders with probity compliance and associated processes.
- Documenting employment relations advice, processes, recommendations and outcomes, including detailed reporting.
- Developing and facilitating training relating to employment relations and culture development.
- Coordination of reward, recognition and engagement programs across the organisational footprint.
About you:
Purposeful and passionate, you are a lively and skilled HR practitioner with an eye for detail and a commitment to providing leading customer service. We will value your:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a generalist capacity.
- Well-developed understanding of employment relations and associated legislation.
- Ability to interpret and apply best practice as per policy and in compliance with legislative requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare professional correspondence/documentation.
- A high level of professionalism, personal integrity, self-motivation, and ethical behaviour.
- Ability to maintain a high volume and varied workload with competing demands and priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously with resilience and the ability to work in a complex and changing environment.
