About the Role

The Public Relations & Communications Manager is a strategic thinker, innovator and masterful communicator who will successfully raise the profile of our brands in an exciting time of growth for our organisation. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will develop and lead public relations campaigns, media engagement plans, and communications strategies. 

Your experience will see you cultivate strong relationships with media outlets and journalists, industry partners, and valued customers, crafting a communication strategy that connects our workforce and broader community with our organisational values, leaders and range of businesses. You will support major organisation-wide programs, initiatives and announcements. You will develop and execute compelling and engaging content using traditional mediums, as well as digital content for our intranet.

With a focus on continuous improvement, you will balance strategic and tactical communication priorities and ensure they have the desired impact.

About You

With an appetite for creativity and desire to be challenged and work within a highly professional team, our PR & Communications Manager is someone who possesses:

  • a tertiary qualification in public relations, communications, or marketing.
  • demonstrated success in creating and maintaining media partnerships that align with your organisation's ethos.
  • proven success in creating communication plans and content aligned to your organisation’s strategy and values.
  • experience in coordinating internal communications.
  • an ability to engage and influence cross-functionally, and at all levels from front-line through to senior or executive.
  • ability to use technology to engage your audiences and experience using multiple content management systems.
  • tenacity, resilience, and ability to traverse periods of organisational change.

About our amazing benefits:

This position is based at our Head Office in Coniston. This is a full-time position, offering a remuneration package of $97,000 - $101,000 (to be negotiated based on experience and qualifications) plus superannuation.
