We are now seeking internal interest from suitably qualified and experienced applicants to take on the role of Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Clinical Services, the team are seeking to appoint a Senior BSP in a Parental Leave coverage position who will each take on leadership of a portfolio of BSP’s and manage a complex case load. As the Senior BSP, you will provide support, supervision, and guidance to your team of Practitioners. You will be a natural leader who thrives around knowledge sharing and bringing out the best in your team, in turn ensuring the best standard of person-centred positive behaviour support.

There is flexibility in the location of the role, with some travel to other locations required. The successful candidate will commence in this role from 19 May 2025. 

About you:

Working as a well-established, successful BSP with The Trust, you will bring:

  • Your advanced practical understanding and application of the policy, legislation and concepts and principles of Positive Behaviour Support including Restrictive Practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring others, contribution to practice development, and clear evidence of leadership in dealing with high-risk behaviours.
