Join our Clinical Team as the next superstar Occupational Therapist.

 

Our Trusted Clinical Services team are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist who is looking to step into a rewarding career opportunity. With flexibility of location across Illawarra and the Far South Coast, you will join our professional Allied Health team to provide competent, confident and structured clinical support to ensure increased health, mobility and social outcomes for people living with disability and their families.

Your role:

As the Occupational Therapist, you will partner with our participants to develop their capacity and independence to reach social, employment and life goals. You will confidently develop programs to assist in areas of daily living capability and provide expertise in living arrangements and modifications, equipment and other assistive technology needs. Further to this, your day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing services to investigate, plan, develop, implement, evaluate and monitor programs responsive to individual participants needs that are evidence based.
  • Participate in data collection and analysis in relation to clinical decision making, quality assurance and workload management.
  • Provide training and education (informal and formal) to participants, direct care employees and other stakeholders.
  • Undertake consultation, professional opinion and recommendations for participants using a multi-disciplinary approach.
  • Navigating client management systems including the use of Carelink, ensuring privacy and confidentiality of information.

About you:

  • Formal qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration.
  • High level verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as an active member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Occupational Therapy services to people with disability with a range of needs will be highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy caseload.
  • Cleared Working with Children Check (WWC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDIS).
