Manager - Commonwealth Psychosocial Supports Program

The Opportunity:

The South-East NSW team are seeking to appoint a Program Manager within a maximum term-contract on a full-time basis Monday to Friday. The Program Manager will be responsible for supporting the coordination of a psychosocial support program. Delivered in partnership with Coordinare, the program focuses on helping people living with mental illness to access services, test eligibility for the NDIS, and access individualised supports with a psychosocial recovery focus.

About the role:

This opportunity will oversee the coordination of the program across three areas – Eurobodalla, Bega Valley and Snowy Monaro. Key activities of the Program Manager will include:

• Delivering psychosocial support services to participants with a focus on service navigation support, NDIS application support and the delivery of time limited non-clinical support
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders regarding the delivery of services
• Guiding and mentoring a small team of Support Workers involved in the program
• Managing systems for gaining feedback and measuring client outcomes
• Ensuring project timeframes and reporting obligations are met

This is a full-time, maximum-term position until June 2027, with the possibility for extension in line with grant funding. Location base is negotiable across the South-East NSW region, however, will require regular travel across the program's footprint on a fortnightly basis. The salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $105,000 p.a. plus superannuation, to be determined based on experience and qualifications. 

About you:
To be successful in this role, you will be enthusiastic and have demonstrated experience in project coordination and leadership, combined with a passion and background in mental health. Additional selection criteria include:

• Relevant experience within the Mental Health field
• An understanding of contemporary mental health approaches, recovery-based supports and integrated stepped care
• Knowledge of the NSW mental health system and associated services
• The ability to create engaging relationships with all stakeholders
• Proficient computer and administration skills
