The Opportunity:
Our IT Operations team are seeking to appoint an Application Support Analyst on a full-time basis Monday to Friday at our Head Office located in Coniston. You will play a pivotal role within the IT team, demonstrating strong critical thinking with sound knowledge in data analysis, data modelling, software development languages and testing practices.
The key responsibilities of the Application Support Analyst will include:
- Troubleshooting and analysing complex systems issues to provide a solution that meets operational requirements.
- Appropriately managing solution, timelines and outcome expectations when engaging with key stakeholders.
- Documenting system requirements and recording them appropriately.
- Understanding, utilizing and documenting current and to-be processes.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure sustainable solutions.
- Implementing solution designs which are efficient, stable and timely.
- Reviewing test activities of officers and colleagues as well as establishing comprehensive test plans, scripts and conduct thorough test execution.
- Preparing comprehensive and reviewing deployments plans to ensure stable implementation

Desired Skills:
- Strong customer service, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge in using structured query languages (like MySQL/NoSQL) and MS Excel
- Experience managing SalesForce and/or Tech1 (demonstrated knowledge in configuring any SAAS platform will be highly regarded)
- Demonstrated knowledge on how to implement working solutions that meet required outcomes, covering configuration, development and testing processes.
- Understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and data exchange formats like JSON and XML
- Ability to provide tier 2/3 support for business-critical applications, investigating and resolving incidents, bugs, and performance issues
- Demonstrated proficiency in coding and/or scripting languages (Python/Java/Javascript)
- Ability to work in a team and work independently
- Prioritises workload effectively, especially when juggling support tickets, deployments, and development cycles
