We currently have multiple opportunities right across the Sunshine Coast. As a Mobile Support Worker, you will provide people with the support they need in their home or community. You will embark on 'shift runs' that are focussed on a particular area. Each shift run consists of a series of short visits at various locations. Time and travel between visits are paid

What You’ll do

  • Provide Care: to the aged and people with disability, supporting them with daily activities such as domestic support, medication administration, meal preparation, showering and personal care, assistance with shopping and appointments;
  • Travel: in your own vehicle between the homes of the people requiring support and be paid for your time and mileage;
  • Flexible Shifts: Enjoy the flexibility of short shifts strung together. The ability to accept only shifts that fit into your life and other obligations.

 

Shift Hours:

  • Varying hours from 7am – 5pm depending on your availability. They can be a minimum of 2hours and up to 7hours.  
  • Many opportunities for shifts during school hours.

 

Essential requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, Community Services, Youth Work; or Allied Health, Social Work or Psychology Diploma/Degree.
  • +1 years’ experience Disability support work
  • Covid 19 Vaccinated (Preferred)
  • Valid Open Driver’s license + own vehicle with insurance
  • National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Blue Card - Working with Children (or willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (or willing to obtain)

Pay rates:

  • Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $35.75 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am shift - $40.04 per hour
  • Saturday - $50.05 per hour
  • Sunday - $64.35 per hour
  • Public Holidays - $78.65 per hour
  • Sleepover allowance $80.00 per shift
