About Us:
T-Ports specialises in bulk handling, storage and transhipping of grain using state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. T-Ports operates two transhipment ports at Lucky Bay on the Eyre Peninsula and Wallaroo on the Yorke Peninsula. As well as the two transhipment ports, T-Ports operates up-country grain storage sites and a transhipment vessel that discharges grain into ocean-going vessels at sea. T-Ports is passionate about connecting rural communities with international consumers through innovative supply chains. The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team at Lucky Bay. These roles are vital in maintaining the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our facilities and equipment, including our Transshipment vessel “Lucky Eyre”.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent role.
- Reporting to the Asset Maintenance Planner, Lucky Bay.
- Perform electrical maintenance, installations, repairs, testing, tagging, and breakdown support across fixed plant and marine equipment.
- Carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance, including PLC troubleshooting and electrical/mechanical fault finding.
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team involving electrical, mechanical, and marine trades.
- Maintain proactive and reliable maintenance systems across all T-Ports sites.
- Ensure scheduled servicing is completed on time with minimal disruption to operations.
- Support and train site personnel to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct condition monitoring and develop strategies for long-term equipment reliability.
- Champion maintenance excellence and initiatives to minimise waste and downtime.
- Promote a positive, safety-first team culture.
- Be hands-on with bulk handling systems, mobile machinery, and marine assets.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Be available to travel between T-Ports sites as required.
What We're Looking For:
- Trade qualification - Unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence
- Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP or MEX
- Working at Heights certification or willingness to obtain
- Confined Space certification or willingness to obtain
- Hazardous Area certification will be highly regarded
- Previous experience in agri-business or bulk handling is advantageous and will be highly valued
