Program Leader - Records Management - Contract

Seeking a program leader with experience in records and information management to ensure Council's corporate records managemtn function is compliant with legislative and statuatory requirements, reflects contemporary best practice and meets our organisational needs. 

The role is responsible for the day-to-day direction and pro-active development of Council’s records management and information systems. The position leads and motivates the team responsible for up-to-date administrative records management and mail services management systems.

We are seeking:

  • Demonstrated experience in contemporary administrative records management.
  • Knowledge of relevant acts and Australian Standards.
  • Sound analytical and conceptual skills with demonstrated ability to develop and implement corporate policies, strategies, business plans and prepare business cases and reports.
  • Experience in process and systems review and the facilitation of innovations and improvements.

Where it's located:

This position is based in Murwillumbah at our Civic Centre, and the Records Storage Facility, the role can also be directed to work from any Council work site.
