We are seeking an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Digital Business Improvement and Business Analyst Specialist. Are you passionate about driving transformation and delivering significant process improvements?

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.

Essential:  

  1. Significant experience in IT business systems improvements enabling projects in complex organisations, as part of the successful delivery of large, multi-year business transformation initiatives.
  2. Strong knowledge of business systems improvement methodologies, processes and procedures, with good organisational, time management, technical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Stakeholder engagement skills with demonstrated ability to identify and demonstrate the benefits of business systems enhancements and improvements, with the ability to analyse user requirements and participate in the improvements and enhancement of software applications.
  4. Proven ability to effectively manage project resources to ensure key staff, stakeholders and vendors deliver the required IT-enabled business outcomes and improvements.
  5. Demonstrated and proven ability to undertake and deliver projects applying Business Improvement tools in organisations with diversity of services, functions or products with reportable benefits.
  6. Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship building skills influencing improvement and innovative outcomes working individually across diverse teams and projects.
  7. Significant experience with large-scale organisational change efforts and demonstrated capability developing business systems changes deliverables including impact statements, change management strategies, stakeholder analysis, and training needs requirements.
  8. Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to drive the development of future business and data management innovations and improvement process models and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  9. Ability to be innovative and think strategically and laterally, with proven delivery of innovative and creative solutions that provide positive business benefits.
  10. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders, with the capability to inspire and support innovative thinking.
  11. Strong interpersonal communication skills including oral and written, negotiation, collaboration and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  12. Experience driving collaboration to deliver target outcomes in support of business /organisational improvement.
  13. Current Vehicle Licence – Car.

Desirable:

  1. Local Government knowledge and working experience.
  2. Experience in Cloud Corporate Applications and SaaS.
  3. Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
