ERP Project Management and BA Specialist - EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Internal only - must be a Tweed Shire Council Employee

Serve as the subject matter expert in the overall planning and project direction for Council's new ERP OneCouncil implementation including business systems implementation and integration.

Liaise with business units across Council to gather, map, analyse, and understand functional business processes, systems functionality and produce recommendations detailing solution options to business system issues. 

Eligibility

  • Only Tweed Shire Council Employees are eligible to apply for this Expression of Interest.
  • Spinifex Recruiting employees (labour hire staff), and Programmed Services employees (apprentices and trainees) are not eligible to apply.

Duties include:

  • contribute to the ERP business systems implementation and improvement
  • facilitate and oversee the analysis and design of technology and business solutions
  • translate business systems requirements into clear, concise, testable and accurate user stories and process flows
  • contribute to and support quality assurance and user acceptance testing
  • perform project close-out activities

What’s on offer:

  • Salary is Job Grade 7 ranging from $50.41 to $58.02 per hour (dependent upon experience and current salary level), plus 11% super.
  • part-time position, 4 days (31 hours) per week
  • maximum-term - 4 years

2. Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in the use of project management methodologies, processes, and procedures with superior organisational, time management, technical and problem-solving skills.

3. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and align projects and day-to-day tasks to support the accomplishment of strategic goals.

4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across program teams to support an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.

5. Solutions focused with a demonstrated ability to set clear goals and expectations while being accountable for the delivery of outcomes.

6. Experience in providing specialist business analysis advice to the a project team on a complex Erp type project.

7. Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship building skills influencing improvement and innovative outcomes working individually across diverse teams and projects.

8. Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to drive the development of future business and data management process models and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

9. Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders, with the capability to inspire and support innovative thinking.

10. Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to negotiate, collaborate and influence, manage stakeholders, and resolve conflicts.

11. Current Vehicle Licence – Car.

Desirable:

12. Knowledge in IT Computer Business Applications portfolio management.

13. Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project implementation methodologies.

14. Experience with Technology One, OneCouncil ERP Systems
