About the role:

We are seeking to fill two (2) Labourer positions. This position involves performing civil construction or maintenance work within Council’s Infrastructure Delivery or Roads and Stormwater Units, under the direction of a supervisor. Duties may include general tasks or specialised roles such as bridge carpentry or line marking, across areas like roads, bridges, drainage, landscaping, and recreation facilities. The role also requires collaboration with other Council units and flexibility to undertake additional duties within the scope of skills and training.

We are seeking:

  • Numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to Year 10 level.
  • Proven ability to apply practical skills across a range of construction and maintenance tasks.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.

Where it's located:

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
