About the Role
The role provides technical, administrative, and customer service support within the Water Unit’s Business and Water Cycle Management section, including processing applications, coordinating new water meter connections, managing data entry, and supporting water and wastewater-related programs and inquiries. Responsibilities also include collecting and recording asset and performance data, assisting with management of backflow prevention, and providing customer responses across various channels. The position may involve occasional fieldwork, relief duties, and requires proficiency with Council’s business and information management systems.

We are seeking:
- Completion of Year 12 or equivalent, with a Certificate III qualification in a relevant trade or administrative field.
- At least 1 years’ experience with Council’s corporate business systems, including Ci Property and Rating, Weave and ECM Records Management.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Excel, with strong skills in spreadsheet development and use.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, along with proven customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of Council water and sewerage functions, including water billing, water loss management, and liquid trade waste processes.
Where it's located:
This position in based in Tweed Heads, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
