We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager – Contracts to lead procurement and contract delivery across a wide range of engineering projects. This role combines technical expertise with strong communication skills to manage stakeholders, ensure compliance, and drive high-quality outcomes. You’ll work across civil, water, sewer, mechanical, and electrical works, with opportunities to contribute to strategic projects and step into higher duties. We are seeking:

  • Lead and manage complex, multidisciplinary projects with confidence, from procurement through to contract close-out.
  • Apply your deep knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management to deliver high-quality infrastructure outcomes.
  • Bring strong technical expertise in construction across civil, water, sewer, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, using clear, plain English in both written reports and verbal discussions.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment by juggling multiple priorities, resolving issues independently, and stepping into leadership roles when needed.

Where it's located:

This position is based in Murwillumbah, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
