About the Role
The Project Director - Flood Restoration leads Council’s strategic flood recovery efforts, overseeing the planning, delivery, and management of complex capital works programs from inception to completion. This pivotal role drives collaboration across executive teams, ensures efficient procurement and funding strategies, and delivers high-quality restoration outcomes with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
What’s on offer:
- a base salary ranging from $157,563 per annum with performance-based increments up to $181,197 per annum, plus 12% super
- a maximum term contract - approximately 3 months from 23 March 2026 to 12 June 2026.
- 70-hour fortnight, 1 RDO per month

We are seeking:

- Strong understanding of contract management and procurement processes.
- An understanding of Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) processes would be an advantage.

This position in based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
