We are seeking a Foreman to oversee our sign writing and painting section. Are you an experienced sign writer with excellent communication and graphic skills; and the ability to manage staff in a busy friendly environment?
About the Role
- Supervises the provision of Graphic Arts, Painting and Signwriting services across a broad range of activities for Council.
- Requires knowledge of the relevant Australian Standards including Roads and Maritime Services (RMS.) regulations associated with the sign industry.
- Uses technical knowledge and skill to operate complex computerised sign making plotters, digital wide format printers, and use hand brushed signwriting skills.
- Ensures quality assurance and compliance to our visual standards.

We are seeking:
- Trade Certificate to carry out the works of Signwriting, painting and Graphic Arts.
- An understanding of schematic diagrams, architectural and structural drawings.
- Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external clients.
- Experience supervising a small team, ensuring productivity and team spirit.
Where it's located:
This position in based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
