Assistant Revenue Officer

About the role:

This role supports Rating, Recovery, and Utilities functions by maintaining accurate property and revenue records and coordinating key processing tasks. It assists with the recovery of outstanding charges and ensures journals and levies are processed efficiently. Strong attention to detail and sound accounting skills underpin all responsibilities.

We are seeking:

  • Year 12–level literacy, numeracy, and general education.
  • Brings enthusiasm and strong people skills to create positive customer experiences.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
  • Solid computer skills, including Excel, Word, and accurate data handling.
  • A collaborative team player with practical accounting capability.

Where it's located:

This position is based in Tweed Heads, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
