Deliver high‑level administrative and project support to the Parks and Active Communities Unit, contributing to the successful planning and delivery of community spaces, programs and initiatives.
About the role:
- Provide administrative and project support for Parks and Active Communities programs, projects and events.
- Build strong knowledge of Unit operations within the broader Division and Council.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including other units of Council, the community, volunteers and contractors.
- Work autonomously using strong communication and analytical skills.
- Maintain accurate records and process operational and financial documentation using Council systems.

We are seeking:
- Certificate III in Business Administration (or equivalent) or comparable experience that demonstrate strong administrative capability.
- Strong people skills and a customer‑focused approach when working with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently using sound judgement.
- A dependable team contributor who works well with others.
- Highly organised, able to manage deadlines and juggle competing priorities.

This position is based in Murwillumbah, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
