TS Global is seeking experienced Scraper Technicians (Level 2 & 3) to join our growing WA Site Services team. This role will see you working across multiple mine sites throughout Western Australia, supporting the performance and reliability of our conveyor belt hygiene products.

KEY DUTIES (Level 2 and 3 Scraper Technician)
Reporting to the WA Site Services Manager, you will be responsible for minimising breakdowns and ensuring that our belt hygiene products perform to customer expectations.

Providing onsite maintenance and technical support for TS Global conveyor and belt hygiene products

Conducting conveyor inspections and performing maintenance on belt cleaners, scrapers, ploughs and associated components

Troubleshooting and resolving equipment performance issues

Responding to service requests in a professional and timely manner

Communicating with site personnel regarding arrival times, maintenance progress and equipment condition

Providing recommendations to improve conveyor performance and reduce downtime
REQUIREMENTS (Level 2 and 3 Scraper Technician)

Proven experience working with belt hygiene systems including scrapers, ploughs and conveyor components

Experience working in mining or heavy industry environments
-
Solid mechanical aptitude with experience in conveyor or fixed plant maintenance, inspection and troubleshooting

Trade background in mechanical fitting, machining or metal fabrication highly regarded but not essential

Experience working in shutdown or live plant environments highly regarded
-
Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to maintenance

Professional communication skills when interacting with customers and site personnel
-
A strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and continuous improvement
-
Physically fit and capable of working long shifts in varying conditions
-
Willingness to travel FIFO throughout WA on an ad-hoc basis

Current Australian Driver’s Licence
Currently hold or be willing to obtain the following certificates:

Confined Space + Gas Test Atmospheres

Working at Heights
-
Fire Attack Training
-
High Risk Work Licence (EWP, RB)

Police clearance (within 6 months)

Rio Tinto, FMG, BHP, MRL Inductions (desired)
