Due to continued growth, we're looking for Site Fitters to join our Mackay-based Site Operations team. Working across a variety of customer sites, you'll be involved in the maintenance, refurbishment, installation and repair of conveyor systems and associated equipment that keep critical operations moving.

About the Role

As a Site Fitter, you'll play a key role in delivering maintenance, shutdown and installation works across conveyor systems and associated materials handling equipment.

Working across a variety of customer sites, your responsibilities will include:

• Mechanical maintenance, inspections and repairs

• Installation and replacement of conveyor components

• Shutdown, breakdown and preventative maintenance activities

• Diagnosing faults and identifying practical solutions

• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship

• Working collaboratively with customers and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes

Whether you're an experienced conveyor fitter or a trade-qualified fitter looking to further develop your skills within the materials handling industry, we'd like to hear from you.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or a related trade

• Strong commitment to workplace safety

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Current Driver's Licence

The following will be highly regarded:

• Experience working on conveyor systems or materials handling equipment

• Mining, ports or heavy industrial experience

• Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP, Rigging or Dogging tickets
