Chef

The Role

Rostrevor College is an independent Catholic primary and secondary day and boarding school for boys, located in Woodforde.

We are looking for a Chef with flair and creativity, a passion for fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment. Reporting directly to the Chef Manager, you will be responsible for delegated areas of the kitchen production team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Day to day production of all kitchen requirements
• Receiving of goods/storage of food
• Ensuring the highest standards of food presentation & creativity
• Ordering and replenishing stock
• Clean up and area maintenance
• Food handling
• Assisting site manager

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• Relevant experience in catering environment
• Customer service skills
• Able to work unsupervised and use own initiative
• Excellent communication skills and impeccable personal presentation
• Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles
• Available during school term only
• Valid drivers License
