The Role- Casual & Part Time positions available

We currently have fantastic opportunities for catering assistants who are passionate about food and service and willing to assist the kitchen team in an Education café,  and function catering site.  Your mission in this role is to deliver top quality, tasty and consistent food in a timely manner. Reporting to the Site Manager.

These are casual & part time  positions operating in a dynamic service environment. As such operational conditions and client demands will dictate hours of work, however shifts are available Monday to Friday 7.30am to 2.30pm  & 9.00am to 2.30pm  some evening shifts are available with events catering - with school holidays off.  Stand down during school holiday periods apply.

Located in Toorak close to Public Transport and onsite parking available

.You will be responsible for:

  • Previous experience in customer service and food presentation
  • Functions- wait service preferable
  • previous experience working with students
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of /qualifications in food safety
  • Experience with made to order sandwiches, hot and cold food storage
  • Impeccable grooming standards
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment (Café/ restaurant environment desirable)
  • Food preparation skills essential
