We are looking for a Chef/Cook with flair and creativity, a passion for fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment.
Reporting directly to the Chef Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day running of the kitchen an catering operations both retail , residential and functions. You will be multi-skilled and have the ability to work as part of a team.
Monday - Friday- 11.00am to 7pm, school holidays off. You will be working 40 weeks a year however events may be catered for outside of school term.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and sustaining productive relationships with key client contacts
- Oversee Day to day production of all catering requirements across all shifts.
- Ensuring only the very highest standards of food presentation & creativity
- Food Safety Supervisor
- Assist with Ordering, replenishing stock,
- Adherence to both client & Spotless compliance requirements
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Proven and successful background in cooking innovative, fresh, nutritious food
- A focus on providing excellent contemporary food!
- Strong understanding of all aspects of menu planning disciplines
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable grooming standards
- Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles
- Preferable- Computer literate
- Must have a driver’s license
