The Location!
Telstra’s cafe, The Dish opened its doors as a new casual dining venue at Sydney’s Customer Insight Centre (CIC). The Dish provides just the right type of atmosphere for conversations for Telstra customers and partners – the perfect place to share insights and ideas over breakfast, lunch or coffee and a snack. Telstra staff will be booking the space exclusively for evening or larger functions and events.
The Role
You will be part of an energetic team, working within a friendly environment, with a dedicated manager who respects and treats each staff member like one big family. This is a unique opportunity for a professional kitchen hand to join the kitchen team and to enjoy the exciting venture, one of which also embraces a work/life balance. We are looking for outstanding BOH professionals who have had experience working functions and events, delivering premium quality and modern food.
You
- Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Kitchen hand
- Able to work 5 days per week – Monday to Friday (primarily, with occasional weekends)
- Flexible and willing attitude, clear communication and customer service skills
- Prepared to work across multi outlets including restaurant service, events & functions
- Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
- Easy access to public transport for occasional early starts and late finishes
- You will be reliable, dedicated, willing to continue learning and passionate
