We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Venue Manager who is looking for Full Time employment opportunities. Join and be part of an expanding team at one our prestigious education venues in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, NSW. Grow with us!

The Role:

  • Overseeing the day to day operation of the dining hall and café
  • Executing event operations on site including set up and pack down of small-medium events and assistance with large events
  • Delivering high quality food and beverages for the site whilst following food safety standards, policies and procedures
  • Efficient service delivery, which anticipates and accommodates client needs
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the team and key stakeholders
  • Maintaining clean, safe and hygienic work practices
  • Stock control, including ordering, receiving & stock taking
  • Overseeing the service team on site

About You:

  • A natural leader, with strong leadership skills.
  • A passion for customer service by creating memorable experiences through providing high level service with great food & beverage products!
  • Thorough understanding of OH&S and Food Safety practices
  • A high attention to detail with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ability to work across a 5 day roster – school term periods only/pro rata salary
  • Previous experience in a canteen, catering or corporate hospitality is an advantage
  • Previous experience working in a flexible, multi-skilled team environment is an advantage
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Immaculate grooming and presentation
  • Able to be a team player, with a positive and can do attitude
  • Drivers Licence
  • NSW RSA
  • Working with Children Check
