We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic chef, who is passionate about cooking and willing to join the kitchen team in a prestigious private college located in Camperdown.
Work directly with the Head Chef and a diverse catering team to deliver top quality, tasty meals throughout the academic calendar, including daily residential catering and external functions.
This is a Full-Time role. Please note due to the nature of this role, a rotation of morning, evening, weekend and public holiday work may be required from time to time to meet operational requirements.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes to a consistently high standard
- Working inclusively within a team of up to 10 kitchen staff, including chefs of all levels
- Maintaining inventory volumes and stock rotation
- Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality targets set by the business.
- Assisting the Head Chef in business development and at times, administrative duties

- The highest standards of food and occupational safety and hygiene
- Sound knowledge of dietary requirements
- Nationally Recognised Food Safety Supervisor Certificate desired
