The Role

Predominately Monday to Friday working days (6.30am – 2.30pm) with school holidays off.

Trippas White Group is seeking an energetic & dynamic, hands on Cook or Chef to work as part of our team at one of Melbourne’s schools in RINGWOOD, along with experience in events of all styles and guest numbers.

We are looking for a cook/ chef with flair and creativity, a passion for fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment with a supportive client.

Reporting directly to the onsite Catering Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day running and supervision of the kitchen including functions and retail. You will be multi-skilled with the ability to assist with café service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and sustaining productive relationships with key client contacts
  • Day to day production of all kitchen requirements both retail & events.
  • High volume production of contemporary food
  • Ensuring only the very highest standards of food presentation & creativity
  • Assisting with Managing staffing requirements
  • Ordering and replenishing stock
  • Baking experience desirable.

  • Please note that a Working with Children check and drivers licence is a mandatory requirement of this position.
