We are looking for staff to join our teams…..

Position 1 38 hours - Work 4 days a week

Thursday & Friday 6.30am to 2.30pm

Saturday & Sunday  7am to 7pm

Position 2 38 hours Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Saturday& Sunday 12pm to 8pm

TWG is seeking an energetic & dynamic, hands-on chef to work as part of our great team at one of Melbourne's most prestigious residential colleges with extensive functions.

We are looking for a chef who has a thorough understanding of allergens to prepare the meals for the residential students. Food is to be creative, contemporary and enjoyable. We require production of fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment.

Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you will work as art of the team catering for , Breakfast ,Lunch & Dinner when required  for residential university students along with assisting with functions and supervising working students.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing contemporary, nutritious meals for tertiary residential students’ day to day production of all kitchen requirements.
  • Ensuring only the very highest standards of food presentation & creativity
  • Adherence to Food safety Program

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • A focus on providing excellent contemporary food!
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of menu planning disciplines
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable grooming standards
  • Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles

 

The option of having school breaks off is a possibility,
